RESEARCH: Music Videos That I Love

Jaden Smith-Shakespeare.
This music video is super simple but that's what I like about it. All that changes is the background and the filter used but it feels like enough as this is one of my favourite music videos ever.

Route 94-My love ft Jess Glynne.
I like this music video because it succumbs to typical conventions of the genre but the filter placed over it puts a cool spin on it.

Wilkinson-Afterglow.
This video is really creative in it's story telling. If i were to give my music video a storyline I would want to do something like this, where it's lots of different clips put together.

Panic! At The Disco- Girls/Girls/Boys.
This video is probably the simplist video ever but every time I watched I feel absorbed. With the camera only zooming in and out and the artist performing, the video still makes me want to watch it over and over again!

Crystal Fighters- LA Calling.
I love the cool filters used in this. It just seems to be a taping of multiple performances but with the addition of cool effects it seems like way more than that.

Foster The People- Best Friend.
This video has such an amazing storyline and cool effects and filters to accompany.

Neon Jungle- Braveheart.
I really like the simplicty of this video alongside the effects used.

Foals- My Number.
Another video that is essentially a recording of the band performing but again the added filters and effects make it so interesting to watch.

Kalin and Myles- Chase Dreams.
I like the use of multiple locations in this video and found myself interested throughout because of the frequent jump cuts used and hand-held camera work which makes the video seem relaxed and more enjoyable.
