As a group we've debated on which song to choose. We had many ideas for each song when it came to the music video however we finally came down to two songs, we talked among ourselves about which song will be right for us in terms of editing, props, costumes and location.
Our final song choice is
"Let Go For Tonight" by Foxes
We chose this song for a number of reasons starting with the fact it would be easy for us to film and edit to due to the counts. When it comes to costume, setting, location and concept we will be able to experiment a much as possible which will be good for cinematography and mis-en-scene. As the songs genre is pop it allows us to think outside the box and not be restricted. We have different new exciting concepts and will be reflected through our music videos and not just a standardized music video. As soon has we heard the song we had a lot of inspirations. We tried not to look at the video so our concepts wouldn't be similar however we found out that our ideas were like the original video but was a step further when it comes to colours, costume and locations/settings. All in all we believe the song we have chosen will be able to incorporate all of our ideas and become a success visually.
