Technical Skills Developed in AS!

The technical skills I developed during the AS year were:

• How to analyse the elements that make up film (i.e Camera, Sound, Mise en Scene and Editing)
• How to use these features so that my final product could be the best quality possible
• The importance of planning in relation to keeping organised
• The different shot types and what they portray e.g. high angle makes subject seem smaller and therefore inferior
• How to edit under pressure and meet a deadline
• How to use Final Cut Pro
• The importance of getting as much footage as possible
• The difference sound can make in your film and how much it can enhance it when used effectively
• The different types of sound e.g. synchronous sound, sound bridge, etc
• The many different types of edit e.g. jump cut, slow motion, etc 

All of this which I have learnt in AS I will retain and use for the future and maybe apply some of it to making my music video in A2.
