Individual task on analysing costume,setting and location.

Our task during this lesson was to do an individual task on analysing costume, setting and props used in music videos.

The video that I watched was Read All About it part 3 by Emeli Sande and Professor Green. In this video the singers are dressed in very casual clothing  and the young boy is dressed in typical boys clothes to represent him as being just like all the other boys. The types of locations used in this video were a massive warehouse, a house and inside the home, a tunnel, a massive field and the boys room. This means that they have used 4 or 5 base tracks in this video, which means that they must have spent a lot of time recording the same scene over and over again to make sure that it all adds up properly. I think it is very good the way that they have used the different locations because it makes it interesting to watch and entertaining for the viewer. The boys bedroom is a very important location in this video because it illustrates the lyrics about how children go through rough times. This location was very well used because this was when the boy just started breaking things in his room to show that he is angry with his father.
